Creating the poster - Part One

When looking through the various photos that we took during the photoshoot we decided upon four photos that captured our attention and hopefully the audience's.However Olivia decided when creating the poster to alter and merge two photos together (as seen below) as it created a mysterious and tense atmosphere.

Here are the two images that I later altered to fit together-

(Un-edited)
(Un-edited)

I first deleted the background of this image by using the erase tool on photoshop. So that I was then able to easily place the model over the new background of the second image.

The photo was then edited and the final outcome looked like this

This is the image that I used for the second section of the poster.I decided to use a close up of the models eyes to add an intensity to the piece.

I then used the cut tool to delete parts of her face that were not needed as I just wanted a close up of her eyes.

This shows the construction of the poster and how we decided to layer each section with a different image. I wanted the sections (boxes) relatively the same size in order for the poster to look aligned and not seem as though the pieces don't match.

This is the final layering of the images.I wanted different view points in order to show the various aspects/scenes of the show.

I added a shadow effect to give the name more definition so that it stood out against the image .

This is the first draft of the poster
