Music

We were advised by our target audience to put in some music in certain parts of our film.

Scene 2

We decided to use this music for the walking section of the shooting scene; it is spooky and has occasional flat notes, which adds to the tense, uneasy atmosphere, insinuating that something bad is going to happen.

We decided not to use this music for the walking section, as it is too energetic and doesn't really match the feeling of the scene.

Scene 3

This is the music we decided to use for the build up to the fight scene; it has a good, tense beat which increases the tension and feeling that something is going to happen. Later on, it also develops into a heavier, more serious tone, which builds to a climax, which we used for the actual fight scene.

We thought about using the music from the Sherlock Series 3 soundtrack, specifically 'How It Was Done', as we though it would have been perfect for the build up and the fight. However, we decided it would be too risky to use, as we would have to get permission from the composers and if they refused, we would have to find something else.
