Poster Ideas

We had a production meeting to discuss initial ideas for the poster; we thought what kind of images we could put on it, and what kind of tagline we could have.

Planning:

When planning we all sat around in a group and decided the different elements we wanted to feature in the films poster.

What we will include:

Main image-Model
Camera hides her face which creates an air of mystery behind the character and that she is hiding away.
Contrasting colours in order for the writing to standout and draw attention away from the main image to the text .I.e - Black,white and red
A tagline
Credits
Actors Names
Company/sponsors
Effects - figured out at a later stage
Title 'Exposure' - above the model/main image,bold lettering/simplistic (Effects?)
Smoke around the model
Possible reviews(Quotes)/ratings (5 stars)

First sketch/draft:

Olivia sketched out a rough copy of what the appearance of the poster would look like ,after gathering information about the different elements we wanted.

We decided to place 'Exposure' above the model as it will be clearer to read due to the amount of space also on photoshop it will morph well into the smoke.

We all wanted the poster to feature Helena (the films main character) as the story focuses on her.Early on we decided that we only wanted one character on the poster but later on decided to hint at another character by showing the 'Boss' through the reflection of the camera,which will intrigue the audience.
